As a boutique agency specialising in land, developments and high end property we take property services a step further. The position we have available requires that you will be responsible for the provision of high-quality advice and sales. You will provide commercial strategy and guidance to our clients. This includes appraising, and developing marketing strategies across residential, rural and commercial property. There is an opportunity to specialise in an area that generates your interest. You will be working closely with specialist team members and consultants.
Responsibilities include the management of a full contract’s lifecycle. This includes the delivery of engagements, and closing processes. You will assist in the drafting, review, revision and negotiation of various types of contracts. You will also be required to monitor contract performance and compliance, recommend improvements and innovations, exercise oversight of the contract process and ensure contract accuracy.
We are looking for a high performer ready to accelerate their career, with preferably at least 4 -5 years of new business development experience with an understanding of complex commercial environments.
You will have highly effective communication skills and a client-focused approach, capable of turning the problem at hand into an opportunity and taking ownership of all elements of delivery to ensure a quality end result for our business. Most importantly, we need a passionate and committed person, driven and excited to be part of a dynamic and growing company.
To be highly successful in this role you will need the following experience and attributes:
Although not a requirement a degree in valuation or commerce, or other appropriate experience would be beneficial;
Diploma Real Estate Salesperson/Agent, or be prepared to acquire this;
An understanding of contract law, commercial pricing and commercial deal constructs;
Minimum of 4 years’ experience, ideally in areas such as new business development, valuation, the building industry or the wider realestate industry.
Competencies & Personal Attributes:
Ability to successfully support a quick-paced, high-volume, diverse and changing, deadline-driven workload;
Knowledge of negotiation, contracts administration and project management;
Commercial and financial literacy;
Strong and timely decision-making abilities;
Understanding of confidentiality;
Strong skills in Sharepoint, Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel;
Ability to work independently and deliver results according to deadlines.
